It's a game based in Medieval times from 2004 (2005 in the US distribution by Paradox)...

It's my fav 4x of the moment...

Hmm doesn't look too bad but I must admit to surprise if they managed to get a good 4x game in a RTS. That's commendable if they did but past experience leaves me highly skeptical of whether I'd really like it.

Then again, at least they have a demo, so maybe I'll look later...

I like Knights of Honor too.

It had a very interesting "personalities" system.
You could assign different tasks to individuals that developed and interacted with the game.
(Army commanders can be captured and sold back to their owners for example).

What I didnt like was the complete lack of useful diplomacy.
In the end it was always a World Conquest with the whole world against you.
