I've only recently become aware about the movie Star Trek XI being in production. I know nothing about the plot of the movie except for the fact it's suppose to be about a younger James Kirk and crew.
however I did hear from some one that the Actor they have to play the young James Kirk is Matt Damon.
Is this person trying to pull a fast one on me, or can some one confirm for me that Matt Damon has indeed signed on for this role. |

I don't know about the cast. But regarding the plot, it has to do with how spock and kirk meet up initially. Hopefully it will be better than the last one which imo was probably the worst (the cgi was ok). _________________ Horizon - Lead Designer |

| I've also heard Matt Damon as Kirk, and the Director or Producer is from Lost / Mission Impossible III fame. The prequel idea scares me as well, it's not like it did wonders for Enterprise. |

Well if the )@(#*$ retards wouldn't have rewritten history six ways from sunday every 5 minutes enterprise might not have been so bad. Enterprise was the first step in my abandonment of my former love for star trek. Nemesis gave it a good sharp prod forwards... and it wasn't too long after that the things that I used to find only mildly annoying became majorly annoying and that was it.
Speaking of which, anybody looking to buy a large number of (mostly) good to great quality ST books? (About 200 paperbacks and another ~20 or so hardcovers.) I'm going to be listing all these on ebay or half.com pretty soon I bet... unless I get a decent offer through other means. Like a PM here...
