O.K. I'm lazy and do not want to spend the time reading all of the forums and threads. Could someone summarise what is known about Horizon so far: interface, gameplay etc.

Canucks aren't supposed to be lazy 
I assume you have checked out the website, if you have any specific questions I'll try to answer them. I've talked quite a bit about the gameplay in past threads.
Haven't gotten around to writing a FAQ, perhaps someone will volunteer to write one  so I can get more work done
