Serenity: just another sci-fi b-movie flop?

Any Firefly fans out there?

Never really watched the show myself, but the premise of the show always held some apeal...

I was just wondering if anybody has/is going to see the movie Serenity which is based on it? Don't really know about when it's opening in different cities or countries... But if anyone's seen it, would you comment and let us know?

Just be warned he's a pretty strong libertarian and is very harsh in lambasting "idiotarians" so if you aren't up to having your views challenged and you're a liberal don't look at the rest of his site.

dunno if you guys have actually seen serenity by now but i'd recommend it simply for some of the special fx scenes. i had never seen an ep of firefly but went to see serenity and kinda enjoyed it but some of the blatent fan plots were completely lost on me. i went back and watched the whole series of firefly and though i appreciate its a good show and a good movie its is by now means excellent.

my tip to u is to watch firefly through first then go watch serenity.
