I am curious whether your company would support sending updated version disks to those people who buy the game in the beginning. If you able to come out with a totally bug free game that would be great (and a miracle in today's market), but if not, would you back your product by sending a bug-free disk to those that register or have bought the disk earlier. I would think this would help sales due to buyer confidence. After all, why buy a $60 bugged game when you can wait and get it un-bugged for under $30 at a later time. I personally like a disk rather than updating on the web as most of my games last longer than the computers I play them on. Thanks in advance for your reply.
PS. Please allow an registration to be a minimum with all the id theft out there.

Well you can never have a totally bug free product, although you can have a very stable product that does not crash and behaves as it should most of the time. But I understand what you are saying.

As to your question, sending a disk is not a problem but it does involve extra cost (shipping, packaging etc) although not a big expense it can be more than electronic downloading.

But certainly we will support Horizon to the best of our ability and a customer who pays full price for an early or online pre-release version would also receive a release version on disk with no extra charge.

Updates and/or patches later on though will most likely be electronic and free to download at anytime and as many times as you want. And if there are larger updates/expansions/add-ons then I expect we will make them available on disk as well.
