I've ordered my copy
Feature-length movie - The Legend of the Rangers - 1
Synopsis:
Babylon 5: The Legend of the Rangers is a two-hour television movie created by J. Michael Straczynski (original creator of the Babylon 5 series) for the Sci-Fi Channel. The telefilm takes place in 2264 after the wars are over and a new age of space exploration has begun. The Interstellar Alliance has been organized to establish and maintain peace among its member worlds, including Earth. The Rangers are an elite military force made up of hand-picked young, smart, dedicated human and alien members who combine the high-tech elements of space travel with the idealism and honor of the knights of old. They encounter a previously unknown alien race whose lethal power is far greater than any force previously known to Earth or any other world in the Interstellar Alliance. _________________ Horizon - Lead Designer |

I just received it yesterday. Watched it and I must say it had some very cool new stuff in it, a lot of combat, shot of minbar, a lot of detail. Overall I enjoyed it very much. The cast was all new except for Andreas Katsulas playing g'kar.
When i first put in the dvd I was hoping for some extras but there were no interviews, introduction or anything, that part was a bit dissapointing. But it is just 1disc so can't expect much more than the movie I guess. _________________ Horizon - Lead Designer |

That royally bites. I mean, Katsulas just died, they release a show with him in it... and NO extras at ALL??
Think I'll wait for the "collector's edition" then.

Apparently JMS was upset at WB and that's the reason why there isn't any goodies...

I told them that I would only be willing to do a commentary if they
went back and revised the Crusade commentary to restore the material
they deleted without telling me.
So I'd say the odds were somewhere between slim and none.
