While that is a very cool case Smile i was never a big fan of the Tie fighter. If i was a pilot for the empire i wouldn't particually want to pilot a engine with two cannons attached which is all the Tie fighter basiclly was. Now give me a Tie Defender and we'd be talking Twisted Evil

If you were a pilot for the Empire you wouldn't have had any choice. You would have been assigned to a TIE fighter and that would have been that. Had you managed to survive long enough maybe you might have gotten upgraded over time. But no guarantees.

I'm well aware of that if being in the empire i went to the local recruiting station and became a pilot i'd get a TIE fighter requardless. Thats why you instead become someone very important and wields power in the empire or take over the empire entirely then if you get in a fighter you could get something other than a standard TIE.

Now you just have to take over the empire from Palpatine. Hmm, what are we going to do tonight Brain? Oh yeah, try to take over the Empire, right... Razz

Why think small? Twisted Evil

Besides Pinky and the Brain provided some excellent educational TV even if most of their plans were slightly….flawed. Add to that many games over the years where you control empires like the moo series, Stars!, and other 4X and the others like Evil Genius is it any wonder that some of us might routinely think of ways to take over the world/Empire? Laughing
