A wallpaper is like a wedding dress, something that you enjoy intensely for one day, and then you toss it away. Just like the process of creating it.
You are not really getting a wallpaper but rather you get passed on the joy of creating it, something that you sip like vampire blood and you pass on. Art, is like a joke that you get, and you burst into laughter. And you feel connected because somebody else, at some point in history had the same state of mind to create that joke and found a medium to pass on “joy”.
But you have to surrender to it, to get it. If you flavor it with your unconscious, the very soul of joy is lost and laughter will turn into a smile. To enjoy creation is to trust the creator. Do you want to be a vampire?
It’s like surfing a wave. Are you submissive to the wave? Do you have free will? You ask these questions and you get lost in ego. It’s not a matter of what you do, it's just matter of perspective: You ask the questions, and by the very nature of the mind, you are only seeing one wave while you miss the ocean. Creation is not a wave, but just a ripple in the ocean. Something that seems to travel, but it does not. However you can travel with it.
"Free will" means not to swim against the current, but to ride on top of it, rather then lay there and let it drag you wherever it goes. And from that high peak you can see the whole ocean and pick the next wave you are going to ride.
so I guess everybody needs a new wallpaper once in a while  |
