i have a question.
can you as a company use free-forum systems?
or do you need to pay for it, since is part of the general capitalistic exploitation.... ehh i mean financial process of a product? |

l3o is a company. This forum is phpBB, which is free.
Technically, that's not really the end of it. You also have to make sure that the license for the forum system you want to use allows "you" (as a corporate entity) to have free use of their code. phpBB, AFAIK, does. Some others may not.
But in general, at least, there is nothing that would prevent you from using a free forum system in US law... and I would be highly surprised if there was one in German or EU law.

I was wondering if anybody would pick up on that after I wrote... then figured oh well it wasn't worth going back and editing for it...
I don't know Canadian law worth beans. But I'd still be just as surprised if they had such a hairbrained law as if anybody else did...
