Can you mod available planet types?

Really, the only one unavailable to choose for starting planet is toxic, but I'd like to be able to choose Toxic for homeworld. Is it possible to mod this?

Yes, Toxic and Gas Giants are the two types unavailable for homeworld. It can't be mod enabled currently as it is hard coded.
