It's the second time in row, actually.

I am allied with Kamzaks, and they attacks 3 defenseless enemy invaders above defenseless enemy planet with the one scout .

I accept the battle and destroyed/boarded all enemy ships. Then I press "Fast Forward" to end the battle.

And second time in row I see correct enemy losses, and correct no losses for me.

And destroyed allied scout both times, with text "Kamzaks opened fire on us"!

Thinking about it, I can guess why AI destroyed poor Kamzaks. As I boarded enemy ship, Kamzaks, obviously, either didn't realize it - or my AI interpreted their previous actions as hostile.

Both cases looks wrong for me though. Can you tell me, if it is intended behavior or not?

I think your conclusion is right. If I can reproduce it I'll see if allied combat can be made a little smarter for such scenarios. :)

I have made the change so allies will immediately stop attacking a ship that is captured by the player during battle. Thanks.
