more races bigger map

Perhaps a little early to ask for this but seeing that this game is working out I would like to see a bigger map with even more races (and of course all races playable at some point)

Well, i would like a bigger map at the very least, cause right now, 6 sectors are not enough, i mean at level 5 in technology i can travel pretty much all over the galaxy as well as scanning it all, which i think is not realistic, i would love to have 12 or even 24 sectors, after its that big, adding more races would be possible.

I only played on standard setting this far but that sounds reasonable. The only problem I see with this is that there currently is only one size of the map. You can adjust the number of stars giving you 2 effective sectors if you choose lowest, but anything else will play on all six sectors of the standard map size.

I assume this will be moddable once the modding framework is finished. So maybe give the devs some time to do their magic ...

PS: For me, games are long enough with the average setting. But it would be nice to have differently sized maps so I could choose the distance between the stars and thus lower expansion speed without adding more planets.

Yes , it would appear that you can change the number of stars but not actually have a larger map
I have faith in the devs that this will eventually change
