Among other things I've suggested, I'd love a production lock on the ships.
Click one ship in a planet's list. Toggle the lock for that production line and never have to mess with it again while it repeatedly feeds that ship into production as long as you have money. Make each line (scouts, transports, cruisers and motherships) have a separate lock or all 4 with one master lock. Either way. It desperately needs this for bigger games.

You can set up up to one hundred of ships of each type per colony in queue.
As far as I understand, you'd like to pay for your next ship only after the previous ship is built, right?

Re: Production Lock For Ships
That makes sense.
So basically you'd have a cruiser on lock, so you pay for the first one and then construction starts. When it's finished, if you have the money, the shipyard would start working on another cruiser (charging you as normal). This would continue until you stop the lock or you don't have the money (which would give you a turn warning to let you know).
Also I think to tie in to this should be a "forwarding" option.
Meaning you should be able to produce a ship somewhere and set a destination. That when as soon as the ship is built it's automatically given the order to travel to the set location. This would allow us to basically use colonies deeper in our empire to supply ships to the front lines.

Exactly. Charged as the ship starts construction. Cueing multiple ships and being charged is fine, but you do have to keep going back to maintain them... which in big game takes a lot of time & repetition. I love planetary development features, but when my empire gets big, I want to be able to not worry about the developed planets so much and focus on the new ones and the battles.
And waypoints from each planet is a great & useful tool too. I was looking for that feature just yesterday and wondered if I had just missed it.
