I personally never build scouts, i stick to transports and above.

When it comes to building limits, its like this:
Small = 8
Medium = 9
Large = 10
Huge = 11
Homeworlds are unique in build limits, huge size homeworlds give 14 slots instead of 11.

Relations goes down regardless for me, especially the tantiks, i have to keep giving gifts and giving money aid and ship supplies just to improve the relationship, otherwise it would just slowly degrade until war, i preferred the diplomacy as it was before, atleast i could get it to friendly in a f...

Well, i play with the advanced race mode active, so i have a pretty advanced race, i avoid building scout ships, its rather pointless, i modify the plans for transport 1 to become a explorer/colony ship, giving it scanning tools, colony pod and a cloaking device, not that it does anything to prevent...

While i personally never invade planets, i just burn them to the ground and then colonize them since my race is far superior (advanced race option enabled), so i just either invade and commit genocide and then build up the colony or just wipe out the colony and then colonize it. I honestly can't play it now, i always used Bio-Energy Armour, Hydrogen Generator and Antimatter Torpedoes, now i can't even choose to do that, let alone terraform from the get go, since none of it is available for custom races, even with Advanced Race option ticked.
