Hey Zaimat, did you ever add the ability to read the diplomacy .ovg files as some type of picture file instead?

It wasn't easily feasible so the original process remains to replace animations with images converted to OGG Vorbis format. Are you having difficulty with it?
I find using VLC media player is fast and easy for this:
1. Download VLC: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
2. Select "Media" -> Click "Convert/Save"
3. Select "Add" -> pick an image file (It should ideally be 640x480 pixels for diplomacy so it doesn't stretch)
4. Click "Convert/Save"
5. Destination file: Click Browse and give it a file name "FILENAME.ogv", click Save
6. Set Profile to -> "Video Theora + Vorbis (ogg)"
7. Click "Start"

No, it works. I was just looking for a faster way to do it.
