I'm new to the forum and I've played for a few days now... I just updated my game to the test version[3.3.5] and I read the change log and it didn't mention the bugs I'm about to report regarding v3.34 ...
(1) When I attack a planet, the planets Ground Troop number is off in the sector display. I had 24k troops and I knocked the defense down to 26k (as displayed). When the invasion sequence came up, the numbers were 24,000 vs 26 ... Needless to say I won
(2) I had a Task Force with two Mother ships with troop pods. Each Mother had six pods (12k / ship), totaling 24k. When I went to a colony with a starbase that had 100k troops, I couldn't load more than 12k on my task force. It appears that it only saw one ship in the task force. Unfortunately I did not try a work around by splitting off the empty mother ... that might have worked.
Thanks will check the troop thing! If you happen to have a save game with the issue(s) you can also send us a report (exit the game and use the launcher reporting tool), it always saves us time instead of trying to reproduce it.
I have the old save game of 334, but since I'm running 337 now I enjoy it so much I'd hate to go back ... What I can do is duplicate the bugs on 337 and send you two separate reports on the turn I see it.
Thanks again ... 337 is a winner so far!
EDIT ... Thanks for posting change log for 337 ... I didn't want to clutter that thread with my reply there so I thank ya here!
I was able to duplicate the "Redeployment" bug in 337. I send a report with details on which saved game and how to duplicate. In a nutshell ...
Cannot load a ship (galaxy map) in taskforce with troops because ship is too far away from planet on the sector map. Fleet is in line formation, last ship cannot load unless you engage sector and move the last ship (far right) closer to the planet.
Now, regarding the "K" character for "Soldiers" on an enemy planet in sector view. The K shouldn't be there. If the soldier number was displaying 328K ... This means 328 not 328,000. When I attacked the planet it was showing like 9,100k ... that would mean 9,100,000 ... over 9 million !!!! I suppose you can drop the K or show it as 9.1k or something.
